‘Warning’ status for Xero/QBO sync entries requiring user actions
XeroQuickBooks Online
Previously to this release, Core would try and sync entries to Xero and QBO multiple times even if they were entries where it was not possible to do so (e.g. void invoices with paid status) due to platform limitations. This was reducing the number of available API calls.
With this release, we have created a new Warning sync status for failed sync entries, preventing Core from trying to export the entry again until a user is able to review the issue and make changes. A new filter has been added to display sync entries with this status.
If Core attempts to export a sync entry and fails, the entry status will be changed to Warning.
Entries with warning status cannot be synced. The user will be prompted to review warning entries and fix errors so the entry can be synced.
Warning entries can be marked as Pending to try and sync again, or Skipped in order to ignore the entry going forward.
Pre-conditions
Users will need the Integration – Accounting – Xero/Quickbooks permissions to view sync errors.

Xero – Troubleshooting Common Errors – Skip sync
Inventory reports – Hyperlinking added to take user from report to sale order, production order, product details, etc.
Inventory Reports
Previously, data appearing in inventory reports was not hyperlinked to any page where the data is expanded. For example, the Production Cost Analysis Report shows production orders, the manufactured SKU, component SKUs, shop floor location among other information. Reviewing the data required opening another page to search for the relevant order, SKU, etc. With this release, hyperlinks have been added to several inventory reports to allow users to access this data with a single click.
The following reports are affected:
Inventory Movement Details
Inventory Movement Summary
Products Stock Level
Warehouse Details
Products Reordering
Products Low on Stock
Inventory Aging
Stock Value Inventory Aging
Lot Expiry
Job Costing Materials
Production Cost Analysis
Disassembly Analysis
BOM Component Availability
Out of Stock Components for Auto-Assembly
No other changes to report functionality or scheduled report functionality have been made.
Pre-conditions
User will need the Inventory reporting permission to view reports.
User will need various other permissions relating to products and services, sales, purchase, production to view expanded information.
Advanced manufacturing module – Calendar view for Scheduler
Advanced manufacturing
While displaying production information in the form of a Gantt chart is good for visualization, calendar views can be more appropriate to visualize longer periods such as a month. With this release, a calendar view option has been added to the Production Scheduler.
Pre-conditions
Advanced Manufacturing module subscription required.
Users will need the Production – Scheduler permission in order to use this feature.

Automation module – Tasks and task workflows expanded for Advanced Manufacturing module
Automation Advanced manufacturing
Currently, the Core Automation module does not fully cater for tasks linked to production orders and production runs. With this release, automation actions such as Create task and Start task workflow can create tasks linked to production orders and production runs.
These are independent tasks outside of production order/run execution, for example:
A finance manager creates a task to check on the production cost and wastage cost for this month’s production orders.
Logistics manager creates tasks or task workflows to manually generate component replenishment orders.
Sales manager creates tasks to follow up on production orders for his customers to inform them of any changes to delivery date.
Task calendar and factory calendar are independent and not synchronized with each other. Holidays and weekend days in the task calendar do not reflect those in the Factory Calendar. Created tasks, even for production items, reflect the task calendar, NOT the Factory Calendar.
Tasks created in this way will not appear in MES app as part of production orders and production runs.
Pre-conditions
Automation module subscription required to use workflows and tasks.
Advanced Manufacturing module subscription required to access workflows for production.
-
Users will need the following permissions in order to use this feature:
CRM – Leads and tasks
CRM – Opportunities – List and tasks view
Various task permissions depending on the user.
Only active notifications for production can be used to trigger or stop task workflows. You will need to configure and activate production notifications before creating task workflows for production orders/runs.

Automation – Reorder backorder purchase during workflow can be from one supplier or multiple suppliers
Automation
A setting has been added to the Reorder backordered action during workflows to give users more control over purchases.
Single purchase: Core will try and create one purchase or all products in the order. If no common supplier is found, the action will be skipped and generate a warning message (current implementation).
Multiple purchases: Group products by latest supplier and create several purchases.
Pre-conditions
Automation subscription is required.
Users will need the Automation and Automation – Workflow permission.

MRP: Error log is split by three types of errors (information, warning, and critical)
Sales MRP
With this release, the Errors section for MRP run has been split into three subsections to aid user comprehension.
Information: some optional settings have not been configured but this will not stop completion or cause calculation errors.
Warning: some settings have not been configured, the calculation will complete but some results may be calculated incorrectly.
Critical: Critical settings have not been configured and calculation will be completed with unexpected or incorrect results.
The Errors section will be visible after the MRP run has been calculated.
Pre-conditions
Users will need the Run: MRP Run permission in order to use this feature.
More information
Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) – View errors
New MRP settings – Procure up to minimum before reorder
Sales MRP
Currently, it is possible to calculate material requirements planning (MRP) stock demand up to stock level (minimum before reorder quantity + reorder quantity). In some cases this results in an overstock for products with low velocity during the calculated period. With this release, Core has added the option to calculate stock demand if procuring up to minimum before reorder quantity.
If the suggested purchase quantity with this setting is less than the reorder quantity, the user will receive a warning but can continue with the purchase.
Pre-conditions
Users will need the Run: MRP Run permission in order to use this feature.

See notes or comments from the sales order in WMS task
Sales WMS
In response to customer requests, we have implemented the ability to see notes or comments from the sale order within the WMS application, e.g. an instruction to pick items in a specific way. Text entered in comment fields for sale order lines and sale quote lines will be displayed in the pick list by pressing an ‘i’ icon, and also displayed on the item details page. The text will also be visible on the pack list.
Pre-conditions
Active WMS application
