13th October 2024 - Cin7 Core Enhancements
FEATURES: Hide inactive production operations in MES, and more!
Hide production operations that cannot be started yet from your MES task list
Advanced ManufacturingMES
Production operations assigned to you are shown in the Task list of the MES application. This included multiple production operations that are part of the same sequence, where the first operation must be completed before the next one. We’ve added a setting so you can hide the later operations, so they won’t show in your task list until you’ve completed the previous operation in the sequence.

Recalculate “Required by date” for orders rescheduled from Scheduler–Production Gantt view
Advanced Manufacturing
Rescheduling a production order from the Scheduler previously did not change the “Required by date” of the order, its planned completion date. With this release, we’ve added the option to recalculate this date when rescheduling from the Production view of the Scheduler. This will update the Required by date of the order and the Next delivery date in the Product Availability Report.

Update to how product discounts and taxes are downloaded from Shopify to Cin7 Core
Shopify
We’ve made some adjustments to how we download product discounts from Shopify to Cin7 Core to make sure we’re capturing the correct tax information.
Core captured discounts from Shopify as an additional charge as a single line. Some customers reported that some product discounts were being captured as tax exempt when they should have been taxed. We’ve changed how we capture discounts so each product discount is shown on a separate line with its tax, rather than being captured as a single entry.

Update to how product prices and taxes are downloaded from Lightspeed to Cin7 Core
Lightspeed
We’ve made some changes to how product prices and tax inclusive or exclusive status are downloaded from Lightspeed to Cin7 Core to work with API changes on the Lightspeed side.
In Lightspeed, each retailer is configured with either tax inclusive or exclusive prices. In Core, this is determined by the product tax rule. Our new changes make sure that Core picks up which tax setting is applied on each side and calculates the correct price to upload or download.
We recommend keeping your Core and Lightspeed tax rule settings the same, either all tax inclusive, or all tax exclusive. This can avoid errors when uploading or downloading products where no tax rule has been applied, and can reduce the total time spent uploading and downloading large numbers of products.
