Cin7 Pay

Cin7 Pay customers and saved payment methods

Cin7 Pay no longer requires payment to save a payment method. On top of that, you can map your Cin7 Pay customers and their saved payment methods to an existing Cin7 Core customer. In Cin7 Pay, you can select Link customers in the Payment methods and customers tab. You can search for specific customers or review suggested customers.

Cin7 Pay button available on Sale order template

Cin7 Core now supports the Pay Online button in the Sale order template for all invoices. Previously, the invoice had to be authorized for the button to appear.

Payment channels on by default

When you set up Cin7 Pay, all Payment channels are selected by default. This will automatically include Cin7 Pay for all of those channels. You can deselect any channels you don’t want to connect to Cin7 Pay.

Performance improvements

Our Shopify integration is now faster and more efficient with product uploads and downloads. We’ve halved the time it takes to upload and download products, and you can sync up to 10 times more products simultaneously!

Update products every 15 minutes

You can now download product updates from Shopify to Cin7 Core automatically by selecting Download products automatically in your Shopify integration settings. Cin7 Core will download new products, new product variants, and product updates every 15 minutes. Cin7 Core will also unlink deleted products, but won’t delete the Cin7 Core product.

Filter product downloads by date

Filter your Shopify product download by the product's Created or updated after date. Cin7 Core will only download Shopify products that match your filter (e.g. created after this date). This will help speed up your download and improve performance.

Upload individual products as active or draft in Shopify

Previously, you could set all products to active or draft with the List products as draft setting in your Shopify integration settings. Now, you can decide for each product if it should be active or draft in Shopify.

Operations log

You can now easily check how your product uploads, download, linking, and unlinking is progressing with the new Operations log. Here, you can see the name and progress of different processes, when they start and end, the number of products, and errors. Click Refresh to update the log with the latest activity.

When the operation is complete, the log shows a final summary of the operation.

Download sales with refunds

Previously, you couldn’t download Shopify sales orders with a refund if you consolidated orders daily. These sales orders would stay in the queue with the status Pending.

Now, all sales orders with refunds will download correctly. If you have sales orders stuck with the Pending status, please create a ticket so we can download these orders for you.

Minor product and setting updates

Processing Shopify orders with BOM products

We fixed an issue where Shopify orders containing BOM products could not be processed if there was insufficient stock. Orders are now processed regardless of stock availability.

14 September 2025

Shopify fulfillment error

We’ve added a new error to show if the Shopify integration failed or skipped order fulfillment because the location was out of stock. You can see this error message in the operations log.

28 August 2025

StockTrim and Inventory Planner

StockTrim and Inventory Planner removed from Integration page

We’ve removed StockTrim and Inventory Planner from the main integration page because they only connect to Cin7 Core through our API.
