You can now use Ask me anything (AMA) our Cin7 Core AI assistant. You can ask questions about your data and create instant reports. Get clear, instant answers to help you understand performance, trends, and product functionality. For example, quickly dive into your top selling products, learn about how you are performing compared to last quarter, and more! No more report filters, or endless tables and rows.
Ask me anything can also generate graphs and charts for you. You no longer have to create these by exporting your data. Ask me anything can turn your questions into graphs ready for any presentation.

Link Avalara tax-exempt customers to Cin7 Core
You can now map your Avalara tax-exempt customers to Cin7 Core customers. Take control of which customers are matched, handle name discrepancies with ease, and ensure accurate tax exemptions on every sale.
In the Avalara integration settings, there is a new Customer settings tab where you can filter customers, match Avalara customers to a Cin7 Core customer manually, or unlink existing matches. Select Load from Avalara to sync Avalara customers with Cin7 Core. Then you can match Avalara customers to Cin7 Core customers. Select Link to link the customers together.

Cin7 Capital (powered by Stripe)
If you’re a Cin7 Pay user in the UK or Australia, you can now access Cin7 Capital (powered by Stripe) directly from the Money menu to apply for and manage working capital financing. US users now see separate options for Cin7 Capital (powered by Stripe) and Cin7 Capital (powered by Kanmon) under the Money menu.

Capital pre-qualification email
If you’re pre-qualified for Cin7 Capital financing through Stripe, you now automatically receive an email notification. The email includes details about the financing offer and a direct link to Cin7 Pay > Cin7 Capital, where you can review and apply. Notifications are sent to your default email, any additional emails configured on the Cin7 Pay dashboard, and your Stripe account email.

Updated removal confirmation text
When removing a customer from the Saved Payment Methods list in Cin7 Pay, the confirmation dialog now advises you to wait at least 2 minutes before re-adding the same customer. This prevents an error that could occur if a customer was removed and immediately re-added before the system finished processing the deletion.

Multi-currency payout conversion
Multi-currency payouts from Stripe now automatically convert to your base currency when no matching bank account is set up for that currency. Previously, payouts could appear with the wrong currency and amount, making reconciliation difficult.

Dispute and chargeback email alerts
If you receive a dispute or chargeback on a Cin7 Pay payment, you now receive an automated email prompting you to respond via the Cin7 Pay admin within Core. Responding quickly increases your likelihood of winning the dispute. Set recipient email addresses in Core > Money > Cin7 Pay > Account and setup > Notifications.

Bulk payment via Cin7 Pay
You can now pay multiple invoices at once via Cin7 Pay. Go to Sale > Bulk payment, look up a customer with multiple open invoices, and process payment — in full or partially — through a keyed-in payment or saved payment method. Previously, you could mark multiple invoices as paid but could not actually collect payment.

Surcharge payment method categories
In Cin7 Pay, you can select new categories for the Payment method in Surcharges. Previously, you selected individual payment types, including non-relevant methods like PayPal. Now there is a simplified list making it easier for you to choose the right Payment method (e.g. Cards and Digital Wallets or Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL)).

Surcharge amount now visible on invoices after payment completion
When a payment that includes a surcharge is processed, the surcharge line item and amount automatically appear in the invoice payments table, with "Surcharge" shown in the reference field.

Surcharge amount in receipt emails
Receipt emails for Cin7 Pay payments now clearly show surcharge amount paid as a processing fee, along with amount paid (the invoice or order total, minus surcharge), date paid (UTC), payment method, disclosure message, and (when applicable) both amount and processing fee.

Hide payment button on unsaved orders
The Cin7 Pay payment button under Customer Credits is now hidden until an order has been saved. Previously, the button was visible on unsaved orders and clicking it would trigger an error. The button will appear once the order is saved, allowing merchants to process payments as expected.

Lightspeed product listing reconnection fix
Product listing and updates to Lightspeed now work correctly after reconnecting the integration. Previously, a missing authorization scope (retailer:read) could cause a 403 Forbidden error when pushing listings. Reconnecting your Lightspeed store resolves this.

Email controls and sending limits
You can now send emails within defined recipient and rate limits, which vary by feature and subscription type. If you exceed these limits, you'll see clear validation messages to help you adjust your email. These controls help prevent abuse while supporting your valid use cases.
Recipient limit per email
Emails sent from Cin7 Core are now limited to a maximum of 20 recipients (To + CC + BCC combined) for paid accounts, or 5 for trial accounts. If the limit is exceeded, the email is blocked and recorded in the Email Log with status Restricted.
Email rate limits
Email sending is now subject to rate limits: paid accounts can send up to 500 emails per minute, 2,000 per hour, and 10,000 per day. Manually sent emails are checked against all three limits, automated emails count toward the daily limit only, and system emails (password resets, 2FA) are never limited.
Email Log
You can now view a complete log of every email attempt in Cin7 Core, including sent, blocked, or failed emails. Access the Email Log under Reports > Audit to see details like sender, recipients, subject, and status, with powerful filters and search to help you quickly find what you need.
Access to the Email Log report is controlled by a new Email Log - View permission. This permission is not granted by default - administrators must explicitly enable it for users who need access.

You can now filter by Picker on the Sales > Fulfillment tab. Create and save filters based on the assigned picker to track and manage orders during fulfillment.

Shipping notes now appear in the fulfillment report as soon as the sale order is listed. Previously, shipping notes only showed after pick authorization.

Sales list carrier
The Sales list view now displays the carrier information depending on fulfillment. If there is no fulfillment, the carrier is shown from the sale header. If there are authorized fulfillments, the carrier is sourced from the fulfillment. For advanced sales with multiple fulfillments, carriers are shown as a comma-separated list without duplicates, making it easier for you to see all relevant carrier details at a glance.

We no longer allow new customers to use PayPal, Pinch Payments, QuickBooks Online Payments, Legacy Stripe, and Authorize.Net integrations. We still support these integrations for existing customers, but we recommend using Cin7 Pay instead.

Payment link in sale order templates
If you use the legacy Authorize.Net integration, you can now add an Authorize.Net payment link to Sales Order templates. When a Sales Order is generated, the payment link is included so your customer can complete payment through the Authorize.Net gateway.

POS printer and device compatibility
We have updated the Epson and Star printer integrations to the latest SDK versions to improve printing reliability and ensure compatibility with newer devices. Support for Telpo POS terminals has been discontinued, and you will need to transition to a supported Android device to continue using the POS application.

When importing products using a CSV file, the I am selling this product field now uses your default setting from product field settings if the value is left blank. If no default is set, the field defaults to Yes.

You can now convert Drop shipment purchases to Advanced Purchase using a new Convert button. This gives you access to partial invoicing and credit notes when you need more flexibility. Drop shipments are still created the same way.

QuickBooks Online
Parent-child customer sync
You can now sync parent and child relationships between Cin7 Core and QuickBooks Online. Cin7 Core will automatically update the customer hierarchy to match QuickBooks Online (and vice versa), including billing relationships. When changes are made in both systems, Cin7 Core will be the source of truth to ensure consistent outcomes.
Cin7 Core supports only one level of parent and child relationship hierarchy. This sync will ignore deeper hierarchies in QuickBooks Online and will sync just the first parent and child relationship.
Parent and child relationships will begin syncing when you next update a customer in either Cin7 Core or QuickBooks Online. Your historical transactions will not reflect any changes.

Login to Cin7 Core with Passkeys!
You can now sign in to your account using a passkey, allowing you to log in quickly and securely without entering a password or 2FA code. Passkeys let you use device-based authentication methods like Face ID, fingerprint, or PIN, and you can manage multiple passkeys for different devices. If you prefer, you can still use your password or SSO to sign in. With this change, you can no longer use Email authentication to sign in.

Manage passkeys in your user profile
You can now add, view, and remove passkeys from your User Profile to make signing in easier and more secure. Removing a passkey immediately disables its use for login and updates your security audit log.

A new Login History report under Reports > Audit shows sign-in events with date, user name, and IP address. You can filter by date range and user name, export to CSV, and control access with the new Login History - View permission.

ShipTheory package labels
You can now create a shipping label for each package in a sale order with ShipTheory. When Allow multiple labels per package in a sale order is enabled, ShipTheory will create a label for each package. When disabled, ShipTheory will create one label to use for the entire shipment. You can create labels from the sale order or in WMS.

You can now filter by Bin group on the Stocktake creation page under Additional filters. This filter is available when the selected location has Use directed pick enabled.

Stock transfer action permissions
You can now control Stock Transfer actions with two new permissions: Stock transfer - Authorize and Stock transfer - Complete. Previously, there was only one user permission for both of these, Stock transfer - List and details. If a user already has Full access to Stock transfer - List and details, they will have these new permissions automatically.

Xero integration for purchase invoice due dates
We have fixed an issue where changes to the due date on purchase invoices were not syncing to Xero. Now, when you update the due date on a purchase invoice, the change will be detected and included in the next sync with Xero.
